AUBURN — The Oak Hill boys lacrosse team scored early and often en route to a 20-1 victory over undermanned St. Dominic on Wednesday.
Tiger Hopkins led the Raiders (2-0) with seven goals, while Travis Caron, D’Andre Daniels and Caleb Richard contributed two goals apiece. Goalie Nick Michaud saved 13 shots in the win.
Roman Vitolo scored the only goal for the Saints (1-3), who played most of the game with only one substitute. Saints goalie Aaron Thibault saved 17 shots.
FRYEBURG 8, OXFORD HILLS 7: Myles Garland’s goal with less than a minute remaining gave the Raiders (3-2) a win over the Vikings (1-2) in Fryeburg.
Will Galligan led Fryeburg with three goals. Rowan Hikel, Patrick Drosa, Haden Fox and Gabe McKenny also scored.
Oxford Hills got two goals apiece from Jake Mondor and Alden Timm, and one each from Grey Vanderwood, Derrick Brooks and Nick Bancroft.
SOFTBALL
MADISON 12, DIRIGO 0: The Bulldogs (5-0) pounded out 14 hits, including five extra-base hits, to beat the Cougars (1-3) in five innings in Dixfield.
Landyn Landry had two triples, three RBIs and scored twice for Madison, while Arabel Linkletter added two triples, a single, an RBI and scored three times. Jersey Tewksbury, Brooke McKenney and Alison Griffith each had two singles.
