Doing their part

Last month, on the 51st anniversary of Earth Day, Ben Thurston (left), Eliza Mann (middle) and Corman Mann walked part of the Flat Road in West Bethel picking up trash along the road.

The kids hard at work despite the less than desirable weather conditions. By the end of their cleanup, they were amazed at all the litter they had gathered. Submitted photo.
