NORWAY — The Western Maine Art Group continues its Spring season with First Friday Reception May 7 from 5 to 7 p.m.. The reception will be held in the backyard of the Main Street Gallery, 426 Main St.
The gallery exhibits the work of fine artists and artisans living and working in Western Maine.
The featured artists for May are Suzie Bottomley, who creates handcrafted jewelry, and her niece, Ashley Bottomley, a photographer capturing local landscape scenes and studies of people.
A refreshment tent will be set up outside to help provide a safe reception and allow guests to view the artists work inside in small numbers in accordance with CDC guidelines.
The Main Street Gallery is open Wednesdays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
