Daniel Darrel Long
LEWISTON – Daniel Darrel Long, 66, passed away peacefully at his residence. He was born in Tacoma, Wash. August 15, 1954 to Darrel and Jennine Theriault Long.He was a graduate of Monmouth Academy. Upon graduating, he entered the Navy serving four years as an electrician on the USS Nimitz. He returned to Maine and worked as an electrician for much of his life .Danny loved cooking for family, and friends. He loved motorcycles and riding them, as much as his his dog Brutus his longtime companionHe was predeceased by his father Darrel, his step mother Carol Main Long; his brothers, Brian and David Long. Survivors include his mother, Jennine Kosiorek; sister Cindy Long of Terryville, Conn., Sue and Paul Levesque of Leeds, Michelle and John Lupone of Beacon Falls, Conn., brothers, Joey of Henderson, Nev., Jeff Long of Boston, Mike Kosiorek of Shelton, Conn.; and many nieces and nephews.Memorial service will be announced later.
