Congratulations to all of our high school graduates. In reading the article in the May 29 edition about the St. Dominic Academy graduation, and seeing the quotation from the mother of a student, I was very disheartened by the derogatory comment about Lewiston. Sadly the reporter felt that should be shared.
Lewiston is to be commended for the efforts it is making to improve life for all its residents. I will be proud to attend Lewiston graduations for family members in the years to come. Living as a peaceful community benefits us all.
