The Auburn school budget referendum will be held Tuesday, June 8. This budget has been carefully developed and approved by the Auburn School Committee, and reviewed and approved by the Auburn City Council.
Maine law requires a city-wide vote for its final approval.
The voter turnout for this annual budget vote is usually very low, and I want to strongly encourage everyone to vote. Both the School Committee and City Council have worked very hard to spend our tax dollars wisely, and to ensure the best education possible for our children while not wasting any money.
