Jacqueline K. Wilner
PALM BEACH, Fla. – Jacqueline K. Wilner, 96, of Palm Beach, Fla., and a longtime resident of Auburn, Maine, died in Palm Beach on June 16, 2021. Born in New York City, she attended Fieldston School and Skidmore College. In 1945, she married Burton L. Wilner and raised a family of four. Later in life, she earned a degree in Nutrition and began a ten-year career as a Registered Dietitian at Maine Osteopathic Hospital in Portland. She eventually retired to Palm Beach, where she was actively involved at Temple Emanu-El. She enjoyed tennis, bridge and was a passionate attendee of the ballet, opera, lectures and many other cultural activities.
She was predeceased by her husband, daughter, Janet Kornreich, son-in-law, Dr. Barry Sugarman and sister, Marjorie Basser.
She is survived by her daughter, Ronnie Sugarman, son, Dr. David Wilner, son, James Wilner and his wife Laura, daughter-in-law, Jan Wilner, son-in-law, Hon. Louis Kornreich and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
