LISBON — A woman from Lewiston was killed when her sedan and a tractor-trailer truck collided Tuesday, police said.

A sedan driven by Juliette Ouellette, 87, was hit by a tractor-trailer truck operated by Lewis Phillips, 67, when the sedan pulled onto Route 196 from Littlefield Road. Ouellette was pronounced dead on the scene. She was the only occupant of the vehicle.

Phillips’ truck sustained front-end damage. He was evaluated by Lisbon Emergency and did not sustain any injuries.

The roads were closed at Lisbon Street and Gayton Road on the Lewiston and Lisbon border, as well as the intersections of Moody Road and Lisbon Street, and Littlefield and King roads. All roads were reopened about 4 p.m.
