Annette Prince Leavitt
RUMFORD – Annette Prince Leavitt died June 19, 2021 at Rumford Hospital from complications of a heart attack suffered during rehabilitation following surgery for a fractured hip sustained in a fall at her home in Turner.
Annette was born in Turner, her lifelong home, to Elsie Waterman and Rufus Prince. She was a former teacher; loved flowers, trees, and, generally, nature; music; art; books; and her family.
She will be sadly missed by her four children Sheila Leavitt, Judith Reed, Stephen Leavitt, and Anthony Leavitt; by their families, including 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; as well as by hundreds of friends and neighbors.
