Karen Ritchie
LEWISTON – Karen Ritchie, 51, of Lewiston, passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2021 at her home.
Karen was always full of life and a social butterfly. She was a long time member of the N.A.S.C. Those of you that knew her, every time she saw you she would have a smile and a hug for you.
Karen enjoyed concerts, watching the Pats games, and traveling out west to see her family. Karen loved her country music and most of all cooking. Karen is predeceased by her stepfather, Bob Gilks of Massachusetts, Lusia Brewer and father-in-law, Joseph Smith of California.
Survived by her loving husband and best friend, Douglas Smith, Coleen Gilks “mother”; her daughter, Vada Ritchie and her partner Derek, her stepchildren Pamela, Melissa, Sarah and Doug Jr.
The family would like to give special thanks to L.P.D, Lewiston Fire Dept. and United EMT for their continuing support and care during these difficult times.
Karen will be missed by many, and to keep her memory alive there will be a celebration of life on July 17, 1 p.m. at the New Auburn Social Club. If you would like to help in anyway please contact the club for more information.
