50 Years Ago: 1971

On Sunday afternoon at the “Barn” at Tall Pines a family concert was held under the sponsorship of the Northwood Park Chapel. The Sugar Plum consists of four teenage girls from High Street Congregational Church. Cathy Theriault. Sue Hill, June Fuller and Kathy Fuller presented a program of folk music and also performing were the Youth Singers of the Main Street Baptist Church in Brunswick. Speakers were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wilson of Fort Worth, Texas, who are here in this area for ten works as missionaries.

25 Years Ago: 1996

The winners of the annual Auburn Fishing Derby held recently at Pettengill Park Pond were Heather Clavet, Brandon Vye and Trina Chabot, Travis Allen, Christina Chabot, Heather Ouellette, Matthew Sonagere, Ryan Hadfield and Jeremiah Beaudoin.
