Stuart Abbott, left, of Caldwell Family Farm and Leah Moreau of Low Fat Farm were practicing for Sunday’s Fourth of July Parade at 10 a.m. and turning around to return to their farms. Just before they left, Green gave one of the horses a quick pat on the neck.
