Glorianne “Glo” Travaglini
LEWISTON – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Glorianne “Glo” Travaglini 90, who passed away July 14, 2021.
Glo was born to Joseph and Desneiges Bilodeau on November 28, 1930.
She was educated in Lewiston Schools. Glorianne married Joseph Travaglini on June 11, 1956. They made their home on Stevens St, for 58 years. Together they traveled all over the world and treasured this time spent with family and friends.
Glo was employed by the Lewiston Police Department as a crossing guard for Holy Cross Elementary School. She moved on to become a buyer for Central Maine Tennis Pro Shop. Her favorite occupation was that of a sales clerk at the Auburn Mall’s Hallmark Carriage House until her retirement.
– She had a passion for flower gardening and bird watching. She loved decorating her house for every season and holiday. Glo loved to entertain and open her house to family and friends especially during the holiday season. She looked forward to her daily, healthy walks around her Stevens St neighborhood stopping to talk with anyone she met along her route.
Her greatest love of all was spending time with her family. Mimi, as she was known to grandchildren, looked forward to every opportunity to play, read, and cook for all her grandchildren.
