Lucille B. Nelson
LEWISTON – Lucille B. Nelson of Lewiston passed away July 28, 2021 in Lewiston. Lucille was born August 31, 1939, a daughter of James and Elsie Barker Bremner. She was a graduate of Edward Little High School.
Lucille retired from Liberty Mutual. She married Ken Edwards Sr. He predeceased her. She then married Otis Nelson on Sept. 4, 1965. He passed in 2005.
Lucille was a member of Rebecca Lodge and the Odd Fellows with which she did extensive travel. Lucille was one of God’s Angels. Her companion “cutie pie” passed away last year after 20 years.
She was predeceased by a great-grandson Ezekiel and a sister Marilyn. Survivors include her children Kenneth “Butch” Edwards Jr. and wife Diane, Janet Hampton and husband Ben and James Nelson; nine grandchildren; and eight great- grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the angels at Androscoggin Home Health Care and the nurses at Montello especially Juanita.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 22 at 1 p.m. At the East Sumner Congregational Church, 50 Main St., Sumner. Please wear colorful clothing. Online condolences may be sent to http://www.funeralalternatives.net
