Richard C. LeBlanc
LEWISTON – Richard C. LeBlanc, 68, passed away August 21, 2021 at St. Mary’s D’Youville Pavillion in Lewiston from complications from diabetes. He was born Sept. 30, 1952 in Livermore Falls to Jean LeBlanc and Arline Fournier LeBlanc.
He graduated from Jay High School and Machias Teachers College with a degree in business. On June 20, 1992 he married Cheryl Evans in South Paris. They made their home in Chelsea. Together, they enjoyed trips to Acadia and camping trips to Rangeley.
Richard worked at the State of Maine Retirement Office in Augusta.
Being a jokester with a quirky sense of humor, he wrote and published his book “Humor Has It” with the assistance of his friend Jessica Fogg.
He also enjoyed doing crafts, puzzles, reading, and watching sports. In his younger years he enjoyed coaching AYS sports and working with youths.
He is survived by his brothers, Armand LeBlanc, and Steve LeBlanc and his wife Sylvia of Jay. He was predeceased by his parents; and his wife Cheryl LeBlanc.
The family would like to thank the staff at D’Youville for the wonderful care he received there.
