Final arrangements are being whipped into line for the illustrated lecture on Ireland to be given at the Elm St. Universalist Church, Auburn, Friday evening. Paul D. Fillion of Durham won the statewide Maine duck stamp contest sponsored by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife earlier this year, and the stamps are now available, according to IFW. In cooperation with the IFW, framed and unframed copies of the print and stamp may be purchased, with a percentage of the proceeds raised going towards the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife to help preserve Maine’s great outdoors for future generations. The duck stamp program started in 1984 by an act of the Maine Legislature. While hunting ducks or geese, waterfowl hunters are required to possess the stamp, which is also called the Maine Migratory Waterfowl stamp.

The material used in Looking Back is produced exactly as it originally appeared although misspellings and errors may be corrected.
