RUMFORD — Looking for treasure, a winning poker hand or a sprint race, paddlers in more than 60 watercraft took part in the Androscoggin Adventure on Saturday.

Canoes, kayaks, paddle boards and other watercraft were on the Androscoggin River to enjoy the adventures presented by EnvisionRumford and the Chisholm Ski Club.

The Androscoggin Sprint, a four-mile timed race by the ski club drew 14 entrants.

Most of the attendees took part in the Androscoggin Float, a mini treasure hunt with a map to collect items from islands .

EnvisionRumford presented the hunt, as well as a poker run, with card-dealing locations marked with large cards. The best hand at the end of the run won a cash prize.

At the Rumford boat launch, spectators enjoyed a cornhole tourney and live music from Jim Gallant.
