ROCKPORT — Igor Domingues scored twice for Lewiston in a 4-1 win over the Windjammers in a boys soccer game on Friday.

Hamza Nur and Moses Lumu also scored, and Obed Antonio and Romano Bassa each had an assist. Tanner Anctil made four saves.

Cameron Brown scored for Camden Hills (0-1) in the second half and Henry Pharris made 16 saves.

BUCKFIELD 4, WISCASSET 0: Buckfield’s Hunter Driscoll scored two goals and earned a pair of assists against Wiscasset in Wiscasset. Zachary Shield and Trevin Albert each scored a goal, with Albert also picking up an assist.

Buckfield outshot Wiscasset, 20-4. Bucks goalie Gavin Charest made four saves, while Wiscasset’s Nate Schute stopped 16 shots.

RANGELEY 2, TEMPLE 2, TIE: Rangeley and Temple played through the pouring rain and ended up in a tie after double overtime.

Rangeley got some help from eighth-grader Jacob Nickerson, who assisted on Chase Carmichael’s first half goal. Anthony Whittier scored the second half for the Lakers.

It was the season opener for both teams.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 5: WELLS 0: Colby Loigon scored a pair of goals to lead Gray-New Gloucester past Wells in a season-opener.

The Patriots took a 2-0 lead after Jacob Butler scored on  a Eben Knedler assist and Loigon’s first goal on Seth Carter feed.

G-NG reeled off three more goals. Colby Dehetre, Loigon and Cater each scored, with assists going to Jay Hawkes, Nolan Swett and Michael Sweeney.

GIRLS SOCCER
MT. BLUE 4, EDWARD LITTLE 0: Grace Bell scored a goal and assisted on two others as the Cougars (1-0) blanked the Red Eddies (0-1) in Farmington.

Meren Zeliger scored two goals while Katelyn Daggett also scored. Eryn Parlin had an assist. Kaitlin Burke made three saves in the win.

Hailee Brown stopped eight shots for EL.

FIELD HOCKEY
MOUNTAIN VALLEY 4, TELSTAR 0: Mountain Valley’s Taylor Duguay punched in a pair of goals and earned an assist to help the Falcons sidestep Telstar.

Teammates Autumn Freeman and Kayla Sinclair each scored a goal, with Freeman picking up two assists. Falcons goalie Brooke Brown made two saves, while Rebels goalie EB Hoff made 13.

FRYEBURG 3, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Grace Murley scored an unassisted goal in the first quarter, and Julie Albert and Eliza Thorne added goals in the second as the Raiders (2-0) downed the Patriots (0-2) at Fryeburg.

Olivia Towne and Camden Jones each had an assist, and Rayna Wales stopped two shots for the shutout. Lorenza Pipen totaled four saves for the Patriots.

OAK HILL 2, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 1: Julie Mooney and Brianna Dumais each scored a goal to help the Raiders slide by the Phoenix in Wales.

Olivia Staggs and Kelsey Young had assists for the Raiders. Aubrey Kachnovich scored the Phoenix’s loan goal on a Paris Howes feed.

Raiders goalie Sierra Lane made 10 saves, while Spruce’s Jayden Achorn stopped eight shots.

WOMEN’S SOCCER
SOUTHERN MAINE 3, UM-FARMINGTON 1: Catriona Gould had two goals and an assist as the Huskies (2-0) defeated the Beavers (0-1) in Farmington.

Ciera Berthiaume also scored the Huskies, who have outscored their opponents 8-1 to start the season.

Audrey Fletcher scored for Farmington.
