On Sept. 21 the town of Sabattus considered having the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office handle its law enforcement services.
Residents of Sabattus soundly rejected this with overwhelming numbers.
Sabattus residents should be proud of our residents and community. The engagement of well over 100 residents shows the true heart of Sabattus. I am sure Acting Chief Dan Davies felt the support from his citizenry.
I am proud to pay taxes in Sabattus, and I am proud to support the Sabattus Police Department.
All Sabattus residents should be, too.
