Robert L. Pelletier
LEWISTON – Robert L. Pelletier, 87, of Winthrop, Maine, died peacefully and unexpectedly at Central Maine Medical Center on Sept. 22, 2021, with his daughter Dottie by his side. He was born in Lewiston, on February 18, 1934, the son of Paul Thibault and Elizabeth Chenard Pelletier. He was educated in the Auburn and Lewiston school system. He entered the United States Marine Corp and served in the Korean War. When he left his duty, he became a hand sewer making moccasins at Moc. Shoe and numerous shoe factories in the Lewiston area. Robert married Marguerite Bizier Caron of Lewiston and they raised three children in Auburn, they were married for 24 years. Robert coached his son’s Little League baseball team; he was a member of the VFW and American Legion. He loved everything outdoors, he was passionate about hunting and fishing and was looking forward to this year’s moose hunt with his granddaughter, Sarah. He loved spending his time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He is survived by his partner, Jacqueline Potvin of Winthrop and Minot, his daughters, Lou-Anne Parker and her husband Rick of Winthrop, Dottie Patria and her husband John of Wayne, his son Paul Pelletier and his partner Paula Foss of Auburn, four grandchildren Joel Parker and partner Melissa Blakney of Fairfield, Sarah Wilson and her husband Corey of Reidfield, Shawn Pelletier, of Wayne and Danielle Pelletier and her fiancé Ryan Cates of Wayne and 7 Great Grand Children, Joel Parker Jr., Brandon Pelletier, Kierra Howard, Ethan Brooks, Daniel Stanley, Eleanore Cates and Kenna Wilson. He was predeceased his partner Linda L Michaud, two sisters Roland Gaudreau and Dorothy St.Hilaire, 3 brothers Raymond Pelletier, Norman Pelletier and Gerard Pelletier.
