Lewiston and Auburn residents will get a chance to hear from more than 30 candidates running this fall for municipal office at a virtual candidates’ forum Thursday evening.

The public forum will stream live on Zoom and feature candidates from both cities running for mayor, City Council and School Committee in the Nov. 2 elections. It is hosted by the Sun Journal, the LA Metro Chamber of Commerce, the Lewiston Public Library and the Auburn Public Library.

It will run from 5:30 to 9 p.m., with Auburn candidates introducing themselves and answering questions from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and Lewiston candidates doing the same from 7 to 9 p.m. It will be recorded and available later on sunjournal.com and the Lewiston Public Library YouTube page.
