PARIS — Police, fire and rescue crews were on Paris Hill Road on Thursday afternoon after a rollover crash reportedly trapped at least two people inside a vehicle.
Just before 5 p.m., rescuers were sent to the area of 843 Paris Hill Road, near the Dew Drop Inn, for a report that a vehicle had rolled and trapped the occupants in the wreckage. According to some reports, fire crews were attempting to free three people from the vehicle.
The crash occurred a short distance from Route 26. A section of Paris Hill Road was closed to traffic.
Oxford Rescue was also responding to the scene and West Paris Fire crews were helping to control traffic in the area. Paris police and Pace Ambulance paramedics were also at the scene.
No further information was available as the rescue effort was underway.
