WALES — Elise Worth scored a brace to lead Oak Hill to a 5-0 MVC girls soccer victory over Madison on Monday.

All of the Raiders’ (12-0) five goals came in the second half. Worth scored twice, while Gabby Chessie, Ellie Smith and Madison Drew all scored a goal each. Chessie tacked on three assists, as well. Paige Gonya saved six shots.

Arabel Linkletter saved 20 shots for Madison (7-5), while Hope Nadeau also saved five for the Bulldogs.

Oak Hill did not concede a goal through the duration of the regular season.

BOYS SOCCER
BUCKFIELD 3, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 3, OT: The Phoenix (5-5-1) had a lead at halftime but the Bucks (5-5-2) came back and earned a tie in Jay.

Spruce Mountain took a 2-1 lead in the first half, but Buckfield stormed back and scored twice in the second half thanks to goals from Justin Lucas and Dylan Bickford. Taz Keough scored in the first half and Gavin Charest saved nine shots for Buckfield.

The Phoenix scored goals via Owen Bryant, Lucas Towers and Kaleb Finelli. Jacob Bryant saved three shots in net.

FIELD HOCKEY
SKOWHEGAN 7, EDWARD LITTLE 0: The River Hawks (14-0) scored early to put away the Red Eddies (1-13) in Skowhegan.

Layla Conway scored a goal in each quarter to pace Skowhegan with four goals. In the first quarter, Laney Leblanc and Paige Gilbert also added a goal. In the second quarter, Gemma Kennedy scored after Conway. Gwyn Turgeon saved one shot in goal.

Edward Little’s Kasey Smith saved 16 shots.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 2, HALL-DALE 0: The Phoenix (7-5-2) defeated the Bulldogs (3-9-2) to end the regular season in Jay.

Mariyah Fournier and Ella Plourde each scored for Spruce Mountain, while goalkeeper Jayden Achorn saved 17 shots.

Hall-Dale’s Kelsie Cormier saved six shots.
