MEXICO – Robert J. “Robby” Patneaude, 59, of Mexico, Maine, lost his life in a tragic auto accident in Norway, Friday, Oct. 8, 2021. He was born Oct. 22, 1961, in Rumford, to Roland and Joyce (Woods) Patneaude. He was number seven of 11 children. Siblings and spouses are Roland Jr. and Gloria (Daigle) Patneaude, Wanda (Merrill) Patneaude and her husband Bell, Kathy (Ronan) Patneaude and her husband Dennis, Pat (Corosy) Patneaude and her husband Paul, Steve, Matthew and his fiancée Doreen Stinson, Mike and Missy (Dolloff) Patneaude, Greg and Tasha (Jasud) Patneaude, Jeff and Darla (Dolloff) Patneaude and Joe Sr. and Kathleen his fiancée.

Robby was married one time to Peggy Townsend for a short time and remained friends. He then met Lori Donahue and raised two children, Trevor and Lyndsy. These children of his were his world! He was a great father and will forever be remembered as the great man he was.

He was a Mexico High School graduate. Robby worked for David Boutot as a young man and worked construction for short period until finding his job of 35 years at Archies Inc. of Mexico. He drove trash truck all over Western Maine unloading dumpsters at all times of day and night. He was incredibly loyal employee proudly did his job and treated everyone he met respectfully and professionally! He will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him … thank you to the Archibald family for treating Robby like family for so many years he respected all of you and his co-workers very much!

Robby also enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing like all of his siblings and also liked going to the casino with his good friend Jr. Belskis of Mexico. There are many other nieces, and friends I wish we had room to list. RIP bother until we meet again, we love you!

There will be a celebration of life gathering at the American Legion in Rumford, Maine on Oct. 23, 2021 from 12-6 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Meader & Son FH, 3 Franklin Street Rumford, Maine
