RUMFORD – Mrs. Mattie White, 73, died Monday Oct. 18, 2021, at Rumford Community Home, Rumford, Maine. She resided on Franklin Street in Rumford.Born in Rumford, on Feb. 21, 1948, she was the daughter of Lester and Gladys (Arsenault) Dodge. She attended Rumford Schools. She was married in Rumford, Maine on July 10, 1971 to Ernest White Jr.Survivors include her husband, Ernest White Jr., a son, Jason White, daughters, Jenny White, Kelly White and Sherri Metcalf all of Rumford, Maine, a sister, Betty Begin and husband Roger of Lewiston, brothers, Richard Dodge of Canton, and Thomas Dodge and his wife Louise of Lewiston, grandchildren, Britney, Natalie, Brianna, Desire, Rene and two great-grandchildren, Peyton and Evelyn and many nieces and nephews.Friends and family are invited to sign the online guest book and share memories with the family at http://www.meaderandson.com.A graveside service will be celebrated 11 a.m., Friday Nov. 5, 2021, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Andover, Maine.
