
Shirley Ray Hersey
TURNER – Shirley Ray Hersey of Turner passed on Oct. 16, 2021. She was born in Rumford on Dec. 20, 1944, the daughter of Henry and Hazel Merrow Paradie Sr.
Shirley worked at Falcon Shoe and her hobbies included spending time with her children and grandchildren and being at Pine Tree Acres Campground.
She was predeceased by her parents; her spouse, Robert Hersey Sr.; and siblings Henry Jr., Verne Sr. and Dorothy Bachelder and Beverly Paradie; two special friends, Roger Dubois and Norman Enman; as well as her son-in-law, Lionel Bernier.
Survivors include her children Roberta (Arthur) Goldmann, Wanda Bernier, Linda Arsenault and Robert and Randy Hersey; grandchildren Brent Ouellette, Joshua Pratt, Michael Arsenault, Charles Eaton, Kenny Eaton, Laura Bernier, Joshua (Chelsea) Pratt and Charlie (Jillian) Eaton; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Jaycee, Bentley, Brianna, and Lily; her siblings Rita Nichols and Robert Paradie; two nephews, Roger (Noreen) Paradie and Leland (Bambi) Bacheldor and nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct. 30 at Funeral Alternatives, 25 Tampa Street, Lewiston from 10 a.m. to noon. Online condolences may be sent to http://www.funeralalternatives.net.
