NORWAY — You are cordially invited to Creative Norway’s third annual benefit gala. The Maskerade Ball,  Friday, Nov. 12 from 6:30 to 10 p.m., will include two opportunities to see Cold, Cold Night Burlesque and Ragtime Rebellion in their home space, House Lorax, located at 290 Main St. in Norway on the second floor.

If burlesque isn’t quite your cup of tea, there are plenty of other festivities to enjoy, including:
• An art show curated by Lights Out, line-ink portraits of yourself done by local artist and House Lorax member Rachael

• 2 choices of photo booths with one offering polaroids to take home, locally made free desserts

• live music from talented local musicians

• a silent auction containing submissions from House Lorax art collective members/teachers, and local businesses.

Creative Norway will also be hosting a decorated facemask contest throughout the evening. Whether you want to dress up your entire self to the nines, or just your facemask, Creative Norway aims to make the best of the state of the world curing COVID and hopes you’ll join them.

There’s something for everyone at the Maskerade Ball and your ticket purchase supports local artists and classes for the local youth in your community. Tickets are $22 via Eventbrite and all information is available on their website, creativenorwayme.org.
