MEDFORD, Ore. – Vicky Marie Wiencek, 49, of Medford, Oregon, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Nov. 4, 2021, of a previously unknown cardiac condition.The beautiful daughter of Rene Bosse and Cecilia Bosse Levasseur, Vicky was born on Oct. 9, 1972, in Lewiston, Maine.Vicky grew up in Auburn, Maine, and graduated from Edward Little High School and CMCC School of Nursing and began her career of helping others. Vicky was always the life of any gathering with her beautiful smile and infectious laugh. Beautiful both inside and out, Vicky was loved by anyone who met her. As a child Vicky was very maternal, always taking care of her younger brother Steve and sister Jamie. She would always make sure her brother stayed out of trouble and she was a protector of her sister. Her siblings were her best friends and together they grew up loved, full of life, and spoke fluent sarcasm.Vicky met the love of her life, Jeff Wiencek, and together they created a family in Medford, Ore. Vicky was blessed with two children, daughter, Sophia and son Harry.Becoming a mother was Vicky’s greatest joy. Her family was everything to her. She loved to visit Maine and spend time with her large extended family. She enjoyed playing cards, reading, traveling, camping, hiking, walking her dog, hosting gatherings with friends, sharing her love for food.Vicky’s son, Harry, describes his mom as funny, dedicated to making him a good kid, always having positive energy, kind to everyone, was very considerate, respectful, and unselfish. He will miss the bond they had and how she would tuck him into bed every night. Sophia describes her stepmom as someone who always loved her unconditionally as her own, and taught her that patience, selflessness and humor could improve any situation. She laughed often and brought joy and ease to every conversation. Vicky took on life with such optimism and excitement and fully embraced every moment.Vicky had a beautiful spirit that will live on forever in everyone she touched. She is survived by her mother Cecilia and stepfather Rick Levasseur of Lewiston; husband Jeff, son Harry, and daughter Sophia of Medford, Ore.; brother Steve Bosse and wife Michele of Greene; sister Jamie Demers and husband Mike of Minot; stepbrother Keith Greaton and wife Melanie of Lewiston. Vicky is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends. She was predeceased by her father Rene Bosse.There will be a graveside service at Perl Funeral Home and Siskiyou Memorial Park inMedford, OR at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2021 for anyone who would like to pay their respects.
