Maurice R. Lamontagne
AUBURN – Maurice R. Lamontagne, 85, passed away Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021, at his home with his family by his side following a long illness.
He was born Jan. 16, 1936, in Lewiston the son of Louis, Jr. and Corona (Duchette) Lamontagne.
Maurice married Denise Cloutier April 17, 1976. He worked in the shoe manufacturing business for many years
Maurice enjoyed playing cards and gardening; however, his favorite times were spending time with family and hunting with Jim and John.
He is survived by his wife Denise Lamontagne; children Roland Lamontagne, Theresa Asselin and husband Ronald, Judy Murray and husband Scott, Cynthia McLeod and husband Robert, Mark Fortier, John Fortier and wife Belinda, and James Fortier; a sister Constance Beaucage; a brother Robert Lamontagne and wife Pierrette; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Maurice was predeceased by his mother and father; brothers Louis, Jr. and Gerald; a sister Priscilla.
At the family’s request services will be private.
