Miss Helen Wardell of Bates college will speak at a supper at the Athletic Club of the YWCA Blue Triangle, Tuesday evening at 6:30 o’clock, on her experiences in South Africa.

50 Years Ago: 1971

The Bales College Needle Club is meeting at the Alumni House, 31 Frye Street, Lewiston Wednesday at eight o’clock. An exhibit of arts and crafts by faculty members is planned and faculty, students and guests are invited. Mrs. John Schofield is chairman of the hostess committee.

25 Years Ago: 1996

The West Paris Historical Society will meet Monday, for a potluck supper at 6 p.m. at the society hall. The supper will include an 80th birthday celebration for Clarence Reid in honor of his service and dedication to the society as president of the group. For more information, call Olga Gellatly.
