The Sumner Ladies Auxiliary plans to present the second annual “Lights for Love” community tree lighting event from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3.
The event is to be held at the Sumner Town office/fire station at 633 Main St., Sumner.
Blue bulbs can be purchased for $5 per name from any auxiliary or fireman from Sumner until Monday, Nov. 29. These bulbs are in memory or in honor of a loved one past or present, and names will be read aloud prior to the tree lighting.
Free hot chocolate, cookies and hot cider will be available.
Soup, chili and chowder will be sold, along with homemade holiday candies.
Santa will be stopping by and available for pictures.
