Doylene Rose Joslin

LEWISTON – Doylene Rose Joslin, 80, died Friday Nov. 19, 2021, at the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. She resided in Auburn.

Born in Sacramento, Calif., on Aug. 3, 1941, she was a daughter of Doyle and Stephanie (Carlina) Coombes. Doylene was a graduate of Elk Grove High School in Sacramento, Calif. She was Director of Environmental Services at Wesley Hall in Baltimore, Md. Doylene’s hobbies included astrology, cooking, family gatherings, bowling and ball room dancing.

She is survived by sons, Charles Brian Creps and fiancé Jenn Grenier of Greene, John Creps and wife Cindy of Hebron, a daughter, Janalin Creps of Auburn; sisters, Tammi Lyons and husband Shawn of Peru, and Deanna Morgan of Buckfield, brothers Richard Coombes and wife Pam of Henderson, Nev., and Steven Coombes and wife Susie of Reno, Nev., nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents and a brother Doyle Coombes. The family would like to thank her grandson Shane for his care and dedication of Doylene.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday Nov. 24, 2021, at the Demeritt Cemetery in Peru. Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader and Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St Rumford.
