Warmer air is turning the morning’s snow to rain. Although some icy spots may remain until ground temperatures rise later today.

A cold front moving across Maine is expected to bring heavy snow showers and snow squalls Thursday night. In the mountains, snow showers should continue overnight.

Then gusty winds are possible through much of the day Friday.
