LEWISTON— The annual Holiday Celebration has been moved to Sunday, Dec. 12, due to rain in the forecast
Sponsored by Androscoggin Bank, the festivities will be held in Kennedy Park. Pictures with Santa and reindeer games will be held and in Dufrense Plaza, which will host musical performances and light shows, as well as the tree and menorah lighting.
The celebration will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in Kennedy Park and 5-6:30 p.m. in Dufrense Plaza.
Free mittens will be provided by Rinck Advertising and masks for Santa visits will be available.
The event will return outdoors after last year’s virtual tree lighting during the pandemic.
