It should start snowing after Wednesday morning’s commute. The scattered snow showers will become widespread late in the afternoon and accumulate.

Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford counties are forecast to get 2-3 inches of light snow. The higher snowfall totals are expected near the coast.

The snow will end early Thursday morning.

Another system is forecast to bring unsettled weather Friday through Saturday night. That includes light snow possible Friday. Inland areas may experience light freezing rain.

Then warm, breezy and rainy weather is forecast Saturday.
