Kevin F. Perreault

PORTLAND – Kevin F. Perreault, 57, a resident of Jay, passed away Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021 at Maine Medical Center in Portland with his loving wife by his side, following a brief illness. He was born Nov. 27, 1964 in Farmington, the son of Roger Perreault and Rae (Brown) Perreault. He was a 1983 graduate of Jay High School. Following graduation, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1983 to 1987. On Dec. 23, 2017 in Livermore Falls, Kevin married Mary (Couture) Howes. Kevin worked as a pipefitter at Bath Iron Works, recently retiring Nov. 30, 2021 after 34 years of service. He was a member of Local Union #S6 Pipefitters at BIW. Kevin enjoyed puttering in his workshop, hunting, fishing, and spending time at his special place in Rockwood overlooking Moosehead Lake. He is survived by his wife, Mary B. Howes of Jay; his mother, Rae Perreault of Farmington; daughter, Meghan Perreault of Farmington, grandson, Sebastian Harris; stepsons, Sam and Stephen Howes of Jay, and the apple of his eye, granddaughter Naomi Howes; sister, Karen Fogg and husband Frank of York, brother Doug Perreault of Windham; niece and nephews, Sydney, Jake and Sam Fogg and Jayden Perreault; mother-in-law, Jeannette Couture of Jay; brothers and sisters-in-law; as well as many cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Roger “Fat” Perreault.
