Scott
Scott was born at the shelter in August and is a super playful, super friendly, little guy. He does have a special need that is very manageable. Soon after he was born he had a problem with his rectum that required some intensive vet care to save his life.
He has healed from that, but he does have some lingering IBD and will require a special diet to keep everything running smoothly inside.
The diet he needs is a canned prescription diet that you would get from your vet (or online with a vet’s prescription). Scott is litter box trained and is well regulated in the potty department as long as he is kept on his special food.
Scott is always ready to play. He needs to work on his manners a little bit, he gets so over-the-top excited while playing. Scott is the cure for a boring home life! If you can keep Scott on the diet he needs, come visit him and be smitten!
Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills is a no-kill, non-profit shelter and adoption center for cats and dogs, and the holding area for stray dogs for 12 towns in Oxford County. The shelter is located at 9 Swallow Road in Paris.

Responsible Pet Care operates a thrift shop called Pawsibilities. It is located at 132 Waterford Road in Norway and is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Donations of clean, usable household items are accepted during shop hours.
