TURNER — Sawyer Hathaway nailed two free throws with 14 seconds remaining to give Leavitt a 54-53 win over Mount View in KVAC boys basketball action Tuesday night.
Hathaway finished with 18 points in the game, including the two foul shots at the end with his team down by one. Brett Coburn added 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Hornets. Hunter Hayes pitched in with seven points, 14 rebounds, five steals and four assists.
Noah Hurd led the Mustangs with 18 points, Tyler Russell had 15 points and Wyatt Evenson finished with 11 points.
