BETHEL — Robin Kennett’s Crescent Park Kindergarten class visited The Family Dollar Store before Christmas with money they had raised from donations. Each of the three groups with the help of room mothers, had a spending budget to buy items people might need. Toiletries, mittens, hand warmers and more were taken back to school and packaged by the children. Kennett delivered the baskets to Maine Needs, a non-profit that helps the homeless in Portland, where she and her sister are volunteers.
