David R. Knoll
PORTLAND – David R. Knoll, 54, a resident of Auburn, passed away Friday, Jan. 7, 2022, at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
He was born August 13, 1967, in New Haven, Conn., the son of Dennis Haddon and Marjorie Knoll. He received his GED and later went on to receive his mechanic’s license. David was a self-employed mechanic for many years. He enjoyed the outdoors and working with his hands, fixing cars and four-wheelers and was a great fan of the New England Patriots. He will be remembered as a man with strong work ethics, and a great love for his family and pets.
He is survived by his companion, Shelly Grover; a stepson, Lakota Grover; six sisters, Bonnie Caron, Lynn Haddon, Kimberly Poirier, Denise Haddon, and Diane Burdin, his dear brothers-in-law Daryl, Matt, Richard, and Will; and many nieces, nephews; aunts, uncles; and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; a sister, Deborah Haddon, a brother, Scott Knoll; a niece, Amelia Caron; and brother-in-law, Larry.
