In his column (“Last Jan. 6, our institutions held — except news media,” Jan. 9), Marc Thiessen says the news media is the cause for what happened on Jan. 6, 2021; I wonder how that is?
He then explains that the majority of Republicans (or Trumpists) believe that President Biden’s election was a fraud. This is after he claims that Biden obviously, undeniably won, in his previous paragraph?
The majority of media outlets reported the results accurately. Sorry to Marc; like the majority of his columns, it makes no sense to blame the majority for telling the truth.
The doubt is instilled by conservatives. Like Fox’s outright political lies. The actual news won’t repeat them, so that makes them culpable?
Opinions are not facts. Truth has value.
