Mona C. Trepanier

SARASOTA, Fla. – Mona C. Trepanier, 79, passed away Jan. 10, 2022 peacefully at her home in Sarasota, Fla. accompanied by loved ones. She was born June 16, 1942, in Lewiston, to P. Emile Labrecque and Irene Leclair Labrecque. In 1962, she married Michel G. Trepanier and raised her family in Lewiston, and later, Winslow. Mona was a graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School, Lewiston and attended Rivier College in New Hampshire. During her career, she was employed as an office manager at various companies and also held various jobs in retail sales. Mona was often the life of the party and very much entertained her friends and family. She enjoyed traveling, reading, knitting, politics and spending time with friends and loved ones.

In 2004, Mona moved from Maine to Sarasota, Fla. where she spent her retirement years. She thoroughly enjoyed the community in which she lived and the close friends she had there.

She was predeceased by her brother, Norbert Labrecque.

Mona is survived by her partner, George Norton; her son, Paul Trepanier and his wife Laura; and her daughter, Kim Beauchemin and her husband Todd.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 2506 Gulf Gate Drive, Sarasota, Fla. on Jan. 28 at 9:30 a.m.

Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Gulf Gate Chapel is handling arrangements.

The family welcomes donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers.
