LEWISTON – Lyse H. Sasseville, 82, of Lewiston, died peacefully on Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, at Montello Manor with her loving family by her side following a long illness.She was born in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada on Feb. 19, 1939, the daughter of the late Armand and Leone (Brouillard) Ayotte and had been a resident of this community for most of her life. She was employed in retail services for many years until her retirement in 2002. Lyse had a love for her animals, traveling, going to the ocean, Opera, but most of all loved spending time with her family and friends laughing and having fun. She is survived by one daughter Lisa-Marie A. Sasseville and her companion John W. Turnbull of Westbrook; one son Kevin J. Sasseville and his wife Cynthia of Lewiston; four grandchildren Jacob Sasseville, Nicholas Sasseville, Kayla Loudermilk and her husband Adam and Heather Michaud; three great grandchildren Olivia, Nathan and Sophia Loudermilk; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son Steven Sasseville; her grandson Alexander Sasseville; her brother Roger Ayotte and his wife Gisele; and her companion Joseph Comeau. A Memorial Service honoring Lyse’s life will be celebrated on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022 at 12 p.m., at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home.A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 9:00-12:00 PM prior to the service at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home 305 Alfred A.
