David B. Gile
MEXICO – David B. Gile, 58, a resident of Mexico passed away suddenly Friday, Jan. 28, 2022 at his home from a medical event. He was born August 12, 1963 in Augusta, the son of Ralph Gile, Jr. and Jessie (Donaghy) Gile.
David was a 1982 graduate of Livermore Falls High School. On April 22, 1989 in Rumford he married his wife of 32 years, Marlene Sweetser of Mexico. Through the years he worked at Echo Woodturning in Bethel, Boise Cascade in Rumford and M-H Logging & Construction. He was a member of River Valley Riders Club in Dixfield. He enjoyed hunting, ice fishing and 4 wheeling.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene Gile of Mexico; his son Justin Gile of Leeds, his daughter Casey Strout and husband Chris of Mechanic Falls; granddaughter Ryleigh Strout; former wife Denise Bernard of Harrington,’ and his brother Darren Gile of Livermore Falls. He was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Ralph Gile III, and sisters, Vanessa Carter and Barbara Allen.

A graveside service at Fayette Mills Cemetery, Tom Surry Road, Fayette, Maine will be announced at a later date. Arrangement by FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine.
