AUBURN – Our Mom, Grammie, Nanie, Narnie, Aunt, Great Narnie, and Great Grammie passed away after a brief illness and a very long and happy life of almost 96 years. Born in Leeds, Maine, Frances was one of 13 children. She married Milton McCabe of Monmouth and celebrated nearly 65 years together before Milton passed at age 86 in 2013.Frances is survived by her children, one daughter and four sons, their respective spouses and partners, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, close relatives, and some double-cousins that make up our family in addition to many, many great friends.We wish to express our appreciation for the care our mother received at Montello Commons in Lewiston, and Androscoggin Hospice House, of Auburn.
