Reginald R. Boilard

AUBURN – Reginald R. Boilard, 93, passed away Wednesday Jan. 26, 2022, at Clover Health Care.

Reginald was born in Auburn on Oct. 30, 1928, son of Josephat and Evelina (Pelletier) Boilard. Educated in local schools, he then went on to proudly serve his country in the U.S. Army spending two years in Germany. On his return he worked at Bates Mill for some time and then took a position at Bell Manufacturing as a fixer. He worked at Bell Manufacturing for 31 Years before his retirement in July of 1992.

Reggie, as he was known to most, married his true love, the former Constance Lussier in 1950, together they raised six sons, and spent 63 wonderful years together before her passing in 2013.

Reggie enjoyed many hobbies over the years: he loved woodworking, puzzles, camping, watching sports, going out to breakfast, and traveling to Florida during the winters with his wife.

Reggie is survived by his four sons, Daniel Boilard and his wife Nancy of Lewiston, David Boilard and his wife Kathleen of North Attleboro, Mass., Paul Boilard of Lewiston, and Andrew Boilard of New Hampshire, as well as 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Reggie was predeceased by his beloved wife Constance, his sons Gerald and Marc Boilard, and his great granddaughter Allyson Boilard.

Visitation will be held at the Fortin Group, 70 Horton St. Lewiston, on February 5th from 9-10:30 a.m., followed by the liturgy of the word. The committal service will be held at St. Peter’s Cemetery at 11 a.m.
