Irene Bilodeau
AUBURN – Irene Bilodeau, 89, died Sunday Jan. 30, 2022, at Clover Health Care in Auburn. She was formerly of Mexico. Born in Rumford, she was a daughter of Charles and Rose (Hamanne) Desveaux. Irene was a graduate of Stephens High School. She worked at H.P Hood in Rumford, Brunswick and Portland for 25 years and she was also the manager at Stowell MacGregor Federal Credit Union in Dixfield for eight years. She was a communicant of the Parish of The Holy Savior St Athanasius St John Church. Irene was married in Brunswick, on Sept. 7, 1957 to Paul Bilodeau who died in Mexico, Maine, on April 18, 2007. Irene was predeceased by three sisters, Lena Garon, Alice Thibodeau and Cecile O’Hearn and two brothers Phil and Ted Desveaux. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022, at the Parish of The Holy Savior St Athanasius St John Church 126 Maine Ave, Rumford. Interment will be in the Maine Veterans Cemetery in Augusta. Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., Rumford.
