FARMINGTON — Eva Stevens threw in a game-high 25 points, leading Mt. Blue (8-11)  to a 47-19 win over Camden Hills (0-18)  in a Class A North preliminary girls basketball game Tuesday.

Stevens led seventh-seeded Mt. Blue with 25 points on 11 field goals. Katelyn Daggett added in seven points for the Cougars. No. 7 Mt. Blue advance to face No. 2 Gardiner in the Class A North quarterfinals at 5:30 p.m. Friday.

Tenth-seeded Camden Hills was led by Kirsten Jones’ five points.

CARRABEC 69, TELSTAR 32: Cheyenne Cahill scored her 1,000th career point to lead the second-ranked Cobras (14-2) past 15th-seeded Telstar (4-13) in a Class C South girls basketball prelim game in North Anson.

Cahill finished with 17 points for the Cobras (14-2), while Molly Hay added 15.

Telstar (4-13) was led by Morgan Zetts’ 23 points.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 73, ST. DOMINIC 26: Elise MacNair scored 21 points and added eight rebounds and six steals as the fifth-seeded Seagulls (15-3) handled the 12th-seeded Saints (5-12) in a Class C South second-round game in Old Orchard Beach.

The Seagulls, who advance to face No. 4 Winthrop in the quarterfinals, made 11 3-pointers, led by Sarah Davis (17 points) with four and MacNair with two.

Jessie Zimmerman had 15 points for the Saints.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 64, MONMOUTH ACADEMY 20: Angel Huntsman had 16 points, seven assists and five steals, powering the third-seeded Panthers (15-2) to a win over the 14th-seeded Mustangs (3-11) in a Class C South second-round matchup in Yarmouth.

Sarah English had 11 points and Graca Bila finished with 10 for NYA, which advances to face No. 6 Kents Hill in the quarterfinals at 4 p.m. Tuesday. Madilyn Onorato had 10 blocked shots.

Haley DeHahn had 13 points for Monmouth.

WINTHROP 51, BOOTHBAY 20: The No. 4 Ramblers (13-3) outpaced the No. 13 Seahawks (6-9) in Winthrop.

Winthrop will face No. 5 Old Orchard Beach (14-3) on Tuesday at the Augusta Civic Center at 7 p.m.

Lydia Rice led all scorers with 15 points for Winthrop, while teammate Madeline Wagner tacked on 14 points.

Jaelynn Crocker paced Boothbay with 11 points.

RANGELEY 72, NORTH HAVEN 23: Chase Carmichael led the No. 7 Lakers (5-10) to a win over the No. 10 Hawks (0-10 in Rangeley.

Rangeley goes on to face second-seeded Valley (10-4) in a Class D South quarterfinal at the Augusta Civic Center on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.

Carmichael scored 15 points to lead all scorers. Brayden Thompson, Barrett Quimby and Boden Washington all scored 10 points each for Rangeley.

Jonathan Brown paced North Haven with 11 points.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 79, OAK HILL 43: Trevor Brown’s 22 points and eight rebounds led the fourth-seeded Panthers (15-4) over the 13th-seeded Raiders (8-9) in Waldoboro in a Class B South prelim.

Jake Bickmore had 12 points for Medomak. Patrick McKenny had 11 points and six assists and Kory Donlan added 10 points and six steals. Blake Morrison scored 10 points.

Oak Hill’s Silas Dumont scored eight points. Jackson Arbour and Tiger Hopkins both finished with seven.

YORK 66, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 33: Will Bourgeois scored 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as the third-seeded Wildcats (12-2) doubled-up the 14th-seeded Falcons (6-12) in a Class B South prelim in York.

JP Frazier and Trevor Parker each finished with 12 points, and Kevin Burke added 10 points with eight rebounds. Jacob Fogg had eight points and six assists for York, which outscored the Falcons 18-4 in the second quarter for a 34-16 halftime lead.

Airick Richard and Zach New each had 14 points for Mountain Valley.

BOYS HOCKEY
BRUNSWICK 4, MT. ARARAT/LISBON/MORSE 2: Luke Patterson made 18 saves for the Dragons (9-4) in the victory over the Eagles (6-11) at The Colisee in Lewiston.

Grey Perham, Brady LaForge, Zach-Stern Hayes and Tommy Labbe scored for Brunswick. Joe Marro had two assists.

Zander Kirk had both goals for Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse and Sean Moore made 35 saves in the loss.

UNIFIED BASKETBALL
EDWARD LITTLE 67, POLAND 42: Catrina Scott scored a game-high 32 points to lead the Red Eddies (1-1) past the Knights (0-2) in Poland.

Alex Duchette dropped in 15 points and Arianna Worchester added 12 and Anthony Seddon eight for Edward Little.

For Poland, Mckayla Fournier led with the team-high 28 points, while Hannah Michaud had six points and Kaylynn Cook and Elijah Salley each contributed four points.

LAKE REGION/FRYEBURG/OXFORD HILLS 4, THORNTON 1: Owen Galligan and Kadan Neureuther each scored twice for the Ice Cats (11-4) in their win over the Golden Trojans (9-4) in Bridgton.

Caleb Micklon had two assists for Lake Region/Fryeburg/Oxford Hills, and goalie Noah Grant made 46 saves.

Jake Marco scored Thornton’s goal in the third period. Gage Tarbox-Belanger stopped 17 shots for the Golden Trojans

LEWISTON 4, MESSALONSKEE 3, OT: Cam Morin scored twice, including the winner in overtime as the Blue Devils (8-7) handed the Eagles (8-1) their first loss of the season at The Colisee in Lewiston.

Dylan Blue had a goal and an assist, and Cody Dionne also scored for Lewiston. Evan Greaton made 24 saves.

Tyler Hanson had a goal and an assist for Messalonskee. Garrett Card and Bryce Crowell were the other goal scorers, and Mitchell Grant stopped 24 shots.

BOYS PREP HOCKEY
NYA 4, KENTS HILL 3, OT: Chad Beaufils scored the winner in overtime as the Panthers defeated the Huskies at Travis Roy Arena in Yarmouth.

Lewiston players Nick Pelletier and Michael Belleau each had a goal for North Yarmouth Academy. Cooper St. Hilaire, also from Lewiston, contributed a pair of assists.

Louka Vamvakas also scored for NYA, and goalie Caleb Waterman stopped 17 shots.
