Friday night, Jan. 11, on his show “Real Time,” host Bill Maher said in his monologue that the reason Americans weren’t watching the Beijing Olympics was because American athletes aren’t winning.
I have been a big fan of Bill Maher for over 30 years. This is the biggest mouthful of malarkey I’ve ever heard come out of his mouth. It seemed to me that these words were written for him by his bosses at HBO.
I’m a big sports fan. I didn’t watch a second of the Beijing Olympics.
I wouldn’t participate in a Chinese propaganda show.
The Chinese Communist Party has committed numerous human rights violations and genocide.
I’d also like to express my disdain for TV’s NBC network. I hope that it lost millions of dollars and more. Olympic viewership was down 43%.
