Those interested in becoming an umpire for school or summer baseball should participate in the first of six rule clinics for Federation Baseball will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, March 1 and 7 p.m.

The Central Maine Board of Approved Baseball Umpires has several umpire openings for those 18 years and older who are looking for a way to stay involved in the game. The board serves high school, middle school, Babe Ruth, American Legion and men’s leagues in Franklin, Androscoggin, Sagadahoc and Oxford counties.
